1. North Mississauga | League 1 Ontario U20
Record: 10 Wins, 3 Draws, 2 Losses
Performance: North Mississauga’s strong performance in League 1 Ontario U20 has earned them the top spot among the elite teams in Canada. They’ve started the U20 League 1 Ontario Fall season with a 5-0 record, and being one of the only ‘true’ 2007 teams (could be playing U17), it’s a remarkable accomplishment.
2. CS St-Laurent | PLSJQ
Record: 15 Wins, 1 Draw, 2 Losses
Performance: CS St-Laurent moves into the 2nd spot despite a slightly rocky September with 3 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie in the month. Regardless, the team remains a top contender in the country, and let’s not forget they are the first PDP National Champions.
3. BTB | EMSA
Record: 12 Wins, 1 Draw, 1 Loss
Performance: BTB topped the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA) standings and qualified for Canada Soccer Toyota Nationals, ending the season in dramatic fashion. Ranked #3 going into October, expectations are high for them to win the competition this year.
4. Sigma FC | League 1 Ontario U20
Record: 11 Wins, 5 Losses, 2 Draws
Performance: Sigma FC remains undefeated in the Fall U20 League 1 Ontario Northeast Division. As predicted, once they consolidated their players into one age level (rather than across League 1 Ontario and CPL), they are now among the best in Canada.
5. Vaughan HP | League 1 Ontario U20
Record: 4 Wins, 0 Draws, 0 Losses
Performance: Vaughan HP has started the U20 League 1 Fall season strong with a 4-0 record. With reinforcements from Toronto FC Academy, the team appears to be operating at full capacity as they look to finish the year on a high note.
6. Burnaby FC 07B | BCSPL
Record: 7 Wins, 2 Draws, 4 Losses
Performance: The PDP Nationals runners-up have had a slow start to Phase 2 of the BCSPL season with 1 win, 1 loss, and 1 draw in September, which has lowered their ranking. However, they remain a team to watch as they seek to rebound in October.
7. Woodbridge SC | League 1 Ontario U20
Record: 4 Wins, 0 Draws, 0 Losses

Performance: Halifax County aims to medal at the Toyota Nationals later in October, where they will face teams like #3 BTB Academy and strong Honourable Mention sides such as Saskatoon Alliance, Thornhill SC, and AK Academy. Dominating in Nova Scotia, Halifax County is firmly positioned in the Top 10.
