The Playbook – NC EH EH All-Canadian Female Teams 2024

GK – Leanne Trudel

Trudel had a stellar Junior season between the pipes for the Catamounts. She started 21 out of 21 games, winning 15 of those games. Trudel’s individual statistics were incredible bolstering 0.49 goals against average, a 0.863 save percentage, and 12 clean sheets which ranked 4th in the entire NCAA for that category. Unsurprisingly, Trudel was named to the All-Southern Conference First Team.

DEF – Jade Rose

Rose was crucial for the success of the Crimson during the 2024 NCAA season. She started all 11 of her appearances during the season in which they went 6-1-4 over that span keeping 5 clean sheets. Rose’s 827 minutes were also impactful offensively, as she scored one gaol and provided 5 assists, tied for fourth in the Ivy League. Rose was deservingly named to the All-East Region Second Team and All-Ivy League First Team for her contributions.

MID – Sadie Sider-Echenberg

Sider-Echenberg ran the show in the heart of the Bulls midfield during the 2024 campaign. She played in 19 games for USF, starting 18 of the games and playing nearly 1,100 minutes. During the season Sider-Echenberg tallied 12 points, including 5 goals and 2 assists. Her goals were massively impactful as 4 of them were game winners. Sider-Echenberg raked in the individual accolades as she was named to the All-South Region Third Team, All-AAC First Team, and the AAC Midfielder of the Year.

ATT – Noemi Paquin

Paquin was one of the most lethal attacking players in the 2024 NCAA season. The Senior from FIU started all 20 of the appearances, seeing over 1,600 minutes of action. She recorded 33 points, ranking tied-19th in the NCAA. Of the 33 points, she scored 15 goals which ranked 15th in the NCAA. 4 of her 15 goals were game winners, and she added 3 assists to her elite offensive output. Paquin was justifiably named the C-USA Player of the Year, the C-USA Offensive Player of the Year, and to the All-C-USA First Team.

FR – Kierra Blundell

Blundell had a dream season leading the line for the Sun Devils in her inaugural NCAA campaign. She led the line at ASU and was one of the most dangerous players in the Big XII. Blundell started 17 of her 19 appearances, played over 1,300 minutes, and registered 24 points during her first collegiate season. After scoring 9 goals, 2 game winners, and providing 8 assists she was unsurprisingly named the Big XII Conference Freshman of the Year. Additionally, Blundell was named to the All-Big XII Conference Freshman Team and the All-Big XII Conference Second Team.

OVR – Brooklyn Courtnall

Courtnall finished her NCAA career in stellar fashion, as the Senior was yet again an integral piece of the backline for one of the best teams in the NCAA. She started all 23 games on the season, playing over 2,000 minutes. The Trojans won 18 games this past season, in which Courtnall’s impact was felt in every match, 11 of these games ended with clean sheets. Courtnall scored 1 goal, which was a game winner during the season as well. She was named to the All-BIG 10 Conference First Team and the NWSL Rookie Class. To finish off the impressive individual accolades, Courtnall was named as a First Team All-American and signed a 3-year contract with the North Carolina Courage in the NWSL.
