Welcome To The Annual FTF x Windsor TFC Cross Border Showdown

Dates: Friday June 13th to Sunday June 15th, 2025

Location: Windsor, Ontario, Canada

Age Groups

Showcase Age Groups: (U18 – 2008/2007), (U16 – 2009/2010)

The FTF Cross Border Showdown aims to provide a top quality showcase experience for age groups 2010 and up.

Identification

FTF will be inviting our contacts from NCAA, USPORTS, CCAA, NAIA, and JUCO to evaluate the talent in person. We encourage teams and players to reach out to programs of interest and invite them to attend as well. 

Tournament Format

Each team is guaranteed 3 round robin games as a participant at the event, played over the course of Friday June 15th and June 16th, 2025.

*Semi Finals and Finals will be played on Sunday June 17th, 2025.

*All games will be 60 minutes long, played between the hours of 8AM and 9PM.

Awards

 A ‘Player of the Match’ from each team will be announced after every game has concluded. Standout players will be further recognized via an article on ‘The Playbook’. A ‘Tournament MVP’ will be awarded to the best performing player. Lastly, a ‘Tournament Champion’ will be crowned with a team trophy + awards.  

All awarded players will be posted on FTF’s social media to increase the exposure of the players.

Registration Guidelines

• Any team interested in participating in the FTF Cross Border Showdown must submit their application along with full payment
• Teams will be conditionally accepted with details to follow
• Additional Team Registration forms will be sent to teams once accepted.
• Upon acceptance, registration fees are non-refundable.

Important Dates

Application Deadline: May 30th, 2025 

Teams Notified of Acceptance: June 1st, 2025

Schedule Released: June 6th, 2025

Tournament Dates: Friday, June 13th – Sunday June 15th, 2025
