Welcome To The 2nd Annual FTF Family Day Showdown

Dates: Saturday February 15th – Monday February 17th, 2025

Location: Coquitlam, BC

Age Groups

Showcase Age Groups: (U18 – 2007), (U17 – 2008), (U16 – 2009)

Tournament Age Groups: (U15 – 2010)

The FTF x CMF Family Day Showdown aims to provide a top quality showcase experience for the older age groups (2009 and up), and an introduction to the high level tournament experience for the younger age groups (2010)

Identification

FTF will be inviting our contacts from NCAA, USPORTS, CCAA, NAIA, and JUCO to evaluate the talent in person. We encourage teams and players to reach out to programs of interest and invite them to attend as well. 

Tournament Format

Each team is guaranteed 3 round robin games as a participant at the event, played over the course of Saturday February 15th and Sunday February 16th, 2025.

*Semi Finals and Finals will be played on Monday, February 17th, 2025.

*All games will be 60 minutes long, played between 8 AM and 9 PM.

Awards

 A ‘Player of the Match’ from each team will be announced after every game has concluded. Standout players will be further recognized via an article on ‘The Playbook’. A ‘Tournament MVP’ will be awarded to the best-performing player. Lastly, a ‘Tournament Champion’ will be crowned with a team trophy + awards.  

All awarded players will be posted on FTF’s social media to increase the exposure of the players.

Registration Guidelines

• Any team interested in participating in the FTF Fall Showdown must submit their application along with full payment
• Teams will be conditionally accepted with details to follow
• Additional Team Registration forms will be sent to teams once accepted.
• Upon acceptance, registration fees are non-refundable.

Important Dates

Application Deadline: Sunday, January 19th, 2025

Teams Notified of Acceptance: Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 

Schedule Released: Wednesday, February 5th, 2025

Tournament Dates: Saturday February 15th – Monday February 17th, 2025
