Welcome To The 4th Annual FTF Spring Showdown

Anticipated Dates: Friday, April 25th – Sunday, April 27th, 2025 

Location: Vaughan Ontario (York Region)

Age Groups

Showcase Age Groups: (U18 – 2007/2006), (U17 – 2008), (U16 – 2009), (U15 – 2010) 

Tournament Age Groups: (U14 – 2011/2012)

The FTF Spring Showdown aims to provide a top-quality showcase experience for the older age groups (2009 and up), and an introduction to the high-level tournament experience for the younger age groups (2010 and 2011).

Identification

FTF will be inviting our contacts from NCAA, USPORTS, CCAA, NAIA, and JUCO to evaluate the talent in person. We encourage teams and players to reach out to programs of interest and invite them to attend as well. 

Tournament Format

Each team is guaranteed 3 round robin games as a participant at the event, played over the course of Friday, April 25th, 2025 and Saturday, April 26th, 2025 

*Semi Finals and Finals will be played on Sunday, April 27th, 2025.

*All games will be 60 minutes long, played between the hours of 8AM and 9PM.

Awards

 A ‘Player of the Match’ from each team will be announced after every game has concluded. Standout players will be further recognized via an article on ‘The Playbook’. A ‘Tournament MVP’ will be awarded to the best performing player. Lastly, a ‘Tournament Champion’ will be crowned with a team trophy + awards.  

All awarded players will be posted on FTF’s social media to increase the exposure of the players.

Registration Guidelines

• Any team interested in participating in the FTF Spring Showdown must submit their application along with full payment
• Teams will be conditionally accepted with details to follow
• Additional Team Registration forms will be sent to teams once accepted.
• Upon acceptance, registration fees are non-refundable.

Important Dates

Application Deadline: Tuesday, March 25th, 2025

Teams Notified of Acceptance: Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 

Schedule Released: Wednesday, April 16th, 2025

Tournament Dates: Friday, April 25th – Sunday, April 27th, 2025
