The FTF March Break Youth Cup is dedicated to providing a premier festival and tournament experience for youth teams aged U8 to U16, hosted across two locations:

Toronto – In partnership with North Toronto Soccer Club

• 5v5: U8 (2017) – Tuesday March 11th, 2025
• 7v7: U9 (2016) – U12 (2013) 
• U10/U11 – Monday March 10th, 2025
• U9/U12 – Tuesday March 11th, 2025

Tournament

• 7v7: U13 (2012) – Wednesday March 12th, 2025 

Hamilton (11v11) – In partnership with Hamilton United Elite Soccer Club
Location: Ancaster, ON L9K 1J4

• Girls U14 (2011): Monday, March 10, 2025
• Boys U14 (2011): Tuesday, March 11, 2025
• Girls U16 (2009/2010): Wednesday, March 12 – Thursday, March 13, 2025
• Boys U16 (2009/2010): Thursday, March 13 – Friday, March 14, 2025

Event Formats

Festival Format (Toronto)

• Each team is guaranteed 2 festival games on the day.
• No scores or standings will be recorded from the games played, ensuring a focus on fun and development.

Tournament Format (Toronto & Hamilton)

• Each team is guaranteed 3 round-robin games, played over one or two days based on the schedule.
• The top two teams from each group will advance directly to the final.

Playbook & Awards

For U14 – U16 Age Groups Only:

• A ‘Player of the Match’ from each team will be announced after every game.
• Standout players will be recognized in an article on ‘The Playbook.’
• A ‘Tournament MVP’ will be awarded to the best-performing player.
• The ‘Tournament Champion’ team will receive a trophy and individual awards.

All awarded players will also be featured on FTF’s social media channels to highlight their achievements.

Registration Guidelines

• Teams interested in participating must submit an application along with full payment.
• Teams will be conditionally accepted, with further details to follow.
• Once accepted, additional registration forms will be sent to the teams.
• Please note: registration fees are non-refundable upon acceptance.

Important Dates

• Application Deadline: Friday, February 24, 2025
• Teams Notified of Acceptance: Monday, February 27, 2025
• Schedule Released: Monday, March 3, 2025
• Tournament Dates: Monday, March 10 – Friday, March 14, 2025
