GK – Isaiah Goldson
Goldson was massively impactful in the stocks for the Wolverines during his Sophomore season. He started all 16 of Michigan’s games during the 2024 NCAA season, logging over 1,400 minutes with a 6-4-6 record. Goldson earned 6 clean sheets during the season in which his save percentage was 0.788. He also recorded a 1.12 goals-against average over the season as he faced over 200 shots.
DEF – Deylen Vellios
Vellios was a stalwart at the back for the Buckeyes during his Senior NCAA campaign. He started all 21 games, on route through the NCAA National Tournament, and helped contribute to 10 clean sheets. Vellios also contributed to the Buckeyes offensive output as he scored 1 game winning goal and provided 6 assists, good for 8 points. Vellios was deservedly named to the All-North Region Third Team and the All-BIG 10 Conference First Team.
MID – Malik Henry
Henry proved, yet again, to be an integral piece week-in, week-out, for the zips during his Senior NCAA season. He started all 21 of his appearances, spending nearly 1,700 minutes on the pitch. Henry recorded 13 points during the season, consisting of 2 goals and 9 assists. 1 of his goals was a game winner, and his 9 assists was good enough for tied 9th in the NCAA. Unsurprisingly, he was named to the All-East Region First Team and to the All-Big East Second Team.
ATT – Marcus Caldeira
Caldeira picked up in his Junior season exactly where he left off in his Sophomore season. He started 19 out of his 21 appearances for the Mountaineers, logging nearly 1,500 minutes. Caldeira scored 11 goals and provided 1 assist, resulting in 23 points. His goal tally was tied 22nd overall in the NCAA, and four of them were game winning goals. Caldeira was named to the All-Southeast Region Second Team and the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team.
FR – David Ajagbe
Ajagbe had a dream beginning to his NCAA career, making his presence on the big stage known for all to see. A starter in 15 of his 22 appearances for the Buckeyes, Ajagbe racked up 16 points in the Big 10. His 16 points were made up of 7 goals and 2 assists. Ajagbe’s goals included 2 game winners, and his first NCAA National Tournament goal when he scored against Wake Forest in the Elite Eight. Unsurprisingly, Ajagbe was named to the All-Big 10 Conference Freshman Team.
OVR – Sydney Wathuta
Wathuta ended his NCAA career in spectacular fashion for the Catamounts. The Calgary, Alberta native started 21 out of 23 games for the NCAA 2024 National Champions and was a massive threat to any defender who he faced. Wathuta scored 1 goal and recorded an incredible 14 assists during the campaign, resulting in 16 points. His 14 assists were ranked as 2nd overall in the NCAA for this past season. Subsequently, he was selected as the AEC Midfielder of the Year and to the All-AEC Conference First Team. To cap off his phenomenal season, Wathuta was selected 16th overall in the 2025 MLS Draft by the Colorado Rapids.
