The Playbook | Top U15/2009 Girls Teams in Canada (July 2024)

September has been an eventful month for the U15/2009 Girls with plenty of leagues in action. Here are our top-ranked teams:

Rankings (W-D-L)

  1.  CS St-Hubert | PLSJQ
    • Record: 17 Wins, 2 Draws, 2 Loss
    • Performance: CS St-Hubert’s dropped a few points in September. We wonder if it is due to the periodization of playing in the PDP (took home gold) and then transitioning to league play. They stay at the top of our rankings.
  2. AS Laval | PLSJQ
    • Record: 16 Wins, 2 Draws, 2 Loss
    • Performance: AS Laval won all but 1 game in the month of September, after coming off a silver medal performance at the PDP Cup.
  3. Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC | BCSPL
    • Record: 4 Wins, 0 Draws, 0 Losses
    • Performance: CMFSC currently sits at the top of the BCSPL with 4 wins, 0 losses, while only conceding 3 goals.
  4. Suburban FC | NSSL
    • Record: 19 Wins, 1 Draw, 0 Losses
    • Performance: Suburban finished up their season and now advance to the Toyota Nationals.
  5. St. Albert Impact | APDL
    • Record: 5 Wins, 0 Draws, 1 Losses
    • Performance: St. Albert Impact started their 2024/2025 APDL outdoor season with 5 wins and 1 loss. They defeated previously ranked side Calgary Foothills SC in September (3-2)
  6.  Markham City | OPDL
    • Record: 5 Wins, 3 Draw, 0 Losses
    • Performance: Markham is undefeated with a game in hand in the OPDL. They have a chance to go top of the table with their game against Oakville SC. They also defeated ranked team Vaughan SC, which enters them into the rankings.
  7. TSS Rovers | BCSPL
    • Record: 4 Wins, 0 Draws, 1 Loss
    • Performance: Despite only scoring 5 goals in 5 games, this team seems to be defensively solid (conceding 3) as they are tied with BCSPL leaders CMFSC on points.
  8. Guelph RED
    • Performance: No updates on performance. We look forward to seeing this top team perform at Nationals this week.
  9. Vaughan SC | OPDL
    • Record: 6 Wins, 1 Draw, 2 Losses
    • Performance: Despite taking 2 losses in September, Vaughan SC still remains top of the OPDL.
